Muffin Bernstein is an award winning Louisiana artist utilizing our ecosystem as her palette. She has been creating photographic nature collages, utilizing sacred geometry, for over 15 years. Within her photographic collages she conveys the transformative and healing power of nature, which Muffin has experienced firsthand throughout her own journey of self-healing, as well as themes of rebirth and reawakening. In her Pollination works, Muffin photographs living butterflies. These geometric mandalas, which are all about breathing for healing, can transport a viewer into another dimension within themselves. Collectors of these mandalas are encouraged to meditate with them as a means of reaching the 4th dimension. The Vanity series of photographs is Muffin’s personal reflection on plastic surgery and Instagram faces. Aphrodite at the Alhambra combines self-portraits with textures from the Alhambra and flowers from its garden. Joy the Silent Movie is a recent community video piece. Muffin believes in the power of art.
